Meet Jacob
I’m Jacob Allen, an adventure professional from the United Kingdom. I set out to capture moments of my own and other peoples' adventure through photography and film.
My adventure seeking nature led me into a career instructing and guiding a range of adventure activities. My career developed further after completing a Degree in Adventure and Extreme Sport Management, whereby I gained a deeper understanding of policy and management within the industry.
I have since developed my experience managing activities, projects and teams and built over a decade of experience in the adventure industry.
Merging outdoor instructing into adventure photography
I’ve always been interested in capturing my personal adventures and outdoor activity. This started with action cameras at a young age, and has since progressed onto the use of more professional grade camera systems and drones.
When I’m not shooting adventure sports, i’m capturing my own adventures and any wildlife or breathtaking views I come across along the way. Beneath the sea is one of my favourite places to shoot. Marine life is so interesting, often disregarded, and something not everyone has the chance to witness or learn about. Capturing marine creatures and underwater ecosystems, and raising awareness of the Ocean’s current condition is something I am striving to do more of in the near future.
